Working Families

Harris voted for the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The Tax Policy Center found the top 1% received an average $61,090 benefit while the bottom 60% of households received under $500. He has also supported budget frameworks that reduce funding for Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistance.

The Chesapeake Bay

Harris co-chairs the bipartisan Bay Watershed Task Force and has secured Bay cleanup funding. His lifetime score from the League of Conservation Voters is 3%. He voted against the Inflation Reduction Act, which included the largest federal conservation investment in U.S. history.

Rural Healthcare
